X Factor’s latest boyband Union J could face legal action from their previous manager who claims he put them together.

Their former manager Julian White has said he formed Josh, JJ and Jaymi as a group named Rewind. He also claims that the band then abounded him for new manager and former X Factor hopeful Blair Dreelan.

Julian White has told The Sun: “I made these lads and we signed an agreement for a contract. Next thing I know they've changed their name to Triple J and auditioned for X Factor with Blair as their manager.

"They got all aggressive when I asked them why they'd gone. But I've consulted my lawyer and as soon as they start earning I'm coming after them for five per cent of their earnings, 'm told I have a very good case.”

The boys’ new manager has also spoken out saying: “Union J are confident that the ex-manager of Triple J has no contractual claims over the band.”

The Sun also reported that friends of Union J are dismissing the claims: “He managed them before George joined the group, so they're not even the same band when he managed them."

From Rewind, to Triple J to Union J, we’re happy the way they are!
