Taylor Swift has admitted that she doesn't wear skimpy clothing because she would hate for it to detract from her music.

The country singer said she puposely avoids flashing too much flesh so her body never become the focal point of her career.

"I don't really take my clothes off because I don't think I can pull it off," Taylor told The Sun  newspaper.

"Also, most people are only going to focus on one or two things about you.  I want that to be that I write my own songs, not that I have great abs." the 'Ronan' singer added.

The 22-year-old has been busy promoting her new album Red and also recently admitted that her ex-boyfriends in the past have begged her not to sing about - to no avail.
