Little Mix have shot down speculation that they could feel threatened by the competition from Girls Aloud, saying they are "supportive" of their comeback.
The foursome have shared their excitement for the Girls Aloud reunion and are happy that there will be more female bands joining them on the music scene.
Girls Aloud reunited last week to announce their long awaited reunion which is set to include a huge UK tour and a double disc greatest hits. Little Mix told Capital FM they were "so excited" about the pop veterans reuniting for their 10th anniversary, and they also referenced the infamous Spice Girls in their excitement when they said that it will be the return of "Girl Power."
Leigh-Anne told the radio station: "The boys have been dominating it – One Direction, The Wanted – it's about time for a bit of girl power really."
She continued: "We're really supportive of them. They're completely different to us, so it's going to be nice to have another girl band out there."
Little Mix are set to release their debt album DNA on November 19th, the same day that Girls Aloud release their greatest hits compilation Ten.
