Adele will not be attending the premiere of the new James Bond movie Skyfall this week, as she "can't bear" to be away from her newborn son.
The 24-year-old Grammy-winner lent her vocals to the theme track for the latest instalment of the spy franchise, but sources close to the star say she doesn't want to leave her son whom she gave birth to on 19 October.
Despite the likes of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall attending the premiere - to be held on Tuesday - sources say Adele would rather spend time with her baby boy and partner Simon Konecki.
"Adele doesn’t want to leave her little boy’s side, it’s as simple as that," a source told The Sun.
"Right through her pregnancy she’s been practically a shut-in as she wanted to look after herself and the baby."
'Rolling In The Deep' singer Adele and Simon are yet to officially confirm their baby's arrival, but sources have said the pair are "ecstatic" with the new addition to their family. Congrats Adele!
