X Factor finalists Union J were forced to cancel a meet and greet after too many fans showed up.
The boyband are being hailed as the next One Direction and with reports like this, it's easy to see why.
The boys were due to appear at Brent Cross Shopping Centre on Thursday night to sign autographs and pose for photos. However, the event was cancelled as just too many fans turned up which made it too dangerous for the boy-band to appear.
A source said according to the Daily Mail: "The boys are gutted they couldn't meet their fans as they were overwhlemed on hearing how many people had turned up."
"But with so many fans there they were in danger of being mobbed and fans could have been crushed in the crowds".
The band, who consist of George, 19, JJ, 24, Jaymi, 22 and Josh, 20, posted a photo to their Twitter account of themselves holding up signs that read messages of sorrow that they couldn't attend.
They also posted a message saying:
"#UnionJAreSorry #UnionJLove LOVE YOU ALL AND WE WILL SEE YOU ALL THIS WEEKEND AT STUDIO! WE'RE SO SORRY! George x"
Josh also tweeted:
"If I had enough money I would take you all on a trip somewhere exotic to apologise for this afternoon. Please still support us! Joshy x"
Sounds like One Direction have competition!
