Jessica Ennis has beaten the likes of Rihanna, Kelly Brook and Frankie Sandford in a poll of the most desired female celebrity bodies.

The athlete, who took home gold for the UK at the London Olympics 2012, made millions of women watching all over the world feel guilty when the slow motion replays emphasised her ripped abs, no doubt causing a surge in gym memberships.

It seems the Jessica Ennis effect wasn't just a blip because two months after the Games, the Olympian has topped a poll by Bootcamp company Lifestyle247 of the most desired female celebrity bodies.

Coming in second place is Kelly Brook with Kim Kardashian taking third place and Transformers actress Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Rihanna coming in fourth and fifth respectively.

Also making the list are Halle Berry, Gisele Bundchen and The Saturdays beauty Frankie Sandford.
