Justin Bieber has regained his VEVO record with his the music video for his new single 'Beauty and a Beat.'

The teen has yet again managed to smash the record for the amount of views his video has had in just 24 hours.

Justin previously held the record for ’Boyfriend’ which had 8 million views in the stated time span but was then surpassed by boyband One Direction’s 'Live While We’re Young' which clocked up 8.2 million views.

The 18-year-old has come back fighting though with a huge 10.6 million views in only 24 hours for ‘Beauty and a Beat’ which features Nicki Minaj.

Justin sent a thankful Tweet to Minaj stating: “Hey @nickiminaj - thanks for being part of this. :) #HISTORY.”

The 'As Long As You Love Me' hitmaker pranked fans and press alike last week, when he claimed "personal footage" of his had been stolen and an anonymous blogger was going to release it on the Internet.

Turns out the joke was on us, as it was a ruse for the release of the 'Beauty and the Beat' video.
