Lady Gaga's boyfriend Taylor Kinney gushed about his relationship with the superstar and says their romance is "great" at the moment.

The 'Born This Way' singer began dating the actor in 2011 after he starred as her love interest in the music video for her single 'You and I'. Gaga and Taylor split briefly in May but it appears their relationship is back on track with the Chicago Fire actor revealing they have never been happier together.

"I don't think I've ever said anything publicly up till now," Taylor told USA Today.

"But I'm happy. I'm in a relationship and I'm happy. Everything is great."

Taylor was recently forced to defend Gaga over the criticism she has received for gaining a few extra pounds, apparently telling the singer he "prefers her with curves."
