Taylor Swift has revealed that she baked fellow singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran an apple pie in order for him to have a proper ''American experience,'' as well as a toast to their duet, after inviting the Brit to her home in the U.S.
Taylor called the 'A Team' star out to her California residence for a recording session, and later celebrated their successful collaboration by inviting over friends for a dinner party.
And to welcome Sheeran to the States, Swift decided to bake him a homemade pie.
During an interview with U.K. radio station Capital FM, the 22-year-old revealed that she and Ed clicked straight away.
''We became fast friends, we became pals right away…It was so much fun because we had my friends over and we had this big dinner and we baked and we danced around the kitchen and he played us all this new music from the U.K that we hadn't heard before.''
''At the end of the night we ended up getting out two guitars and sitting on the kitchen floor jamming and playing music - it was so much fun. He didn't have much of a part in the actual baking process. We wanted him to have an American experience so we baked him an apple pie. Isn't that cute?" Taylor continued.
Swift will release the duet she recorded with Sheeran, entitled 'Everything Has Changed,' on her upcoming album Red, schedule to drop on October 22.
