Tickets for Robbie Williams mini-tour sold out in one hour this morning.

The 'Candy' singer is set to play three nights at London's 02 arena in November, 50,000 tickets went on sale at 9am this morning and were sold out within the hour.

With the 02 dates being William's only solo UK performances this year, demand was huge and ticket registration saw that it was oversubscribed by 5000%.

A spokesperson for Ticketmaster commented on the demand:

"There was extraordinary demand today for the Robbie Williams concerts at The 02, probably the biggest on sale for a live event that we have witnessed so far in 2012."

They continued: "The tickets for these hugely anticipated concerts sold out in less than an hour. By using Ticketmaster's paperless Ticket initiative, the artist has also ensured that all these tickets have gone to genuine Robbie fans."

Robbie will perform at the 02 arena on the 22, 23, and 24 November.

His newest album, Take The Crown will be released on November 4.
