Robbie Williams is paying a monthly "six figure" sum to hold onto his Los Angeles pad while still living in England.
The ‘Candy’ singer has relocated to Wiltshire with his wife Ayda Field and newborn daughter Theodora Rose, but still "spends a fortune on his US home," a source told the Daily Star.
"Robbie has a fleet of staff in LA, people to look after his plants, his terrapins, his dogs, his paintings as well as cleaners, butlers, chauffeurs and security," the insider revealed.
"It’s like a giant luxury world class hotel with swimming pools, lake and gardens but no guests. The staff are doing their chores but with no-one living there it’s pretty sad."
The 38-year-old singer is apparently not fussed on spending so much money on the LA home as he wants to keep it just in case he feels like getting some sun.
"Ayda is happy to get rid of the LA house but Robbie hates the UK weather and wants to be able to go back to California at the drop of a hat, so it’s worth it to him," the source continued.
Robbie has recently been rumoured to be appearing on a live showing of The X Factor as a fifth guest judge.
Robbie’s new album Take The Crown will be released on November 5.
Robbie Williams' Shagging Past...
In 2001, Robbie may not have scored a worldwide hit with double A side Eternity/Road To Mandalay but he scored with the young Australian model playing the wife to his diamond geezer wheeler-dealer role, if tabloid reports are to be believed.
