Louis Walsh angered viewers at home last night after his indecisive in the X Factor results show caused Carolynne Poole to go home over Rylan Clarke.
The 60-year-old was left with the deciding vote over whether Carolynne or Rylan should go home following their intense sing-off, however, he infuriated the audience and fellow judge Gary Barlow when he sent the vote to deadlock.
Despite her impressive sing-off, Carolynne was sent home after receiving the lowest number of votes from the public, prompting speculation that the vote was fixed by producers quickly telling Louis to send it to deadlock.
A furious Gary, who mentored Carolynne, said on The Xtra Factor: "Absolute joke. I'm so gutted for Carolynne, that was the most unbelievable thing. Two years running you've lost out to joke acts."
"Why send it to Deadlock? It's ridiculous. We always try to judge it on the last performance, how can you compare those performances?"
Host Dermot O'Leary - who grew frustrated with Louis' indecisiveness - wrote on Twitter later that night: "Weird show. For those asking I have ask who the judges are sending home, not save.Straight question. Been like that's for 9 years!"
Do you think the vote was fixed? Was Louis wrong for sending it to deadlock?
