The 'Smile' singer has revealed in an interview with NME, how she's just "tinkering away" in the studio.
"I'm not going to put anything out until I've got an end product which I think's amazing - or, you know, good".
Allen told the magazine how her main concern is on her pregnancy and her new material "definitely will" factor in her new life as a parent.
Last month Allen collaborated with Pink on the track 'True Love'.
Allen has not recorded her own material since 2009's It's Not Me, It's You, after which she announced her "retirement" from the music world in order to concentrate on her family and fashion boutique.
Allen recently changed her professional name from Lily Allen to her married name, Lily Rose Cooper.
