What do Madonna, Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears all share in common? The diva status of course. They're talented, they're famous, but they also hold some of the biggest egos (and tantrums) in the music industry.

Just recently, it was an ugly case of 'war of the divas' during a recent episode of American Idol, when Nicki Minaj pulled the claws out on fellow judge Mariah Carey, during auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina, threatening the 42-year-old with ''I'm gonna knock you out.''

It's hardly surprising considering two of the music industry's biggest stars have been cleverly placed alongside each other on the same judging panel, let alone the same room, so there was always bound to be some sort of friction.
