With the release of her upcoming sophomore album Halcyon fast approaching, Ellie Goulding proved that she's still capable of dazzling her listeners with some killer covers too, by performing a rendition of Fun.'s 'Some Nights.'

The 25-year-old songstress performed the American band's hit in support of her new single 'Anything Could Happen,' which is available to download now.
Ellie appeared on BBC's Radio 1 Live Lounge yesterday morning at Maida Vale to perform the acoustic rendition, which begins with a rich acapella, before a live band jumps in to fill the track up.
The 'Starry Eyed' singer's hotly-anticipated new LP will feature 12 songs including new cut 'Explosions,' which was released on iTunes on Monday.
Meanwhile, Ellie recently admitted that she was worried about her ex-boyfriend Greg James' reaction to her new album, and revealed that she played him the songs first so he wouldn't hear them for the first time on the radio.
