US rapper Nas has admitted that he still thinks about his ex-wife Kelis and even sent her a late-night text message.

The 'Cherry Wine' rapper is currently performing in London to promote his latest album, Life Is Good, and was clearly in a confessional mode at one of them, as he admitted he still "gets urges" to get in contact with Kelis, whom he divorced in 2010.

"You know, I text her the other night. I said, 'Can we make love one more time?' Seriously!" Nas told the audience according to NME.

"(It) still hurts bad. That pain is real, y'all."

Nas, who shares a son, Knight, with Kelis, made the admission during a performance of 'Bye Bye Baby', which he wrote about his famous ex. Despite their bitter custody battle, the pair are still on friendly terms for the sake of their son, and were seen on holiday with the three-year-old.
