Cheryl Cole's forthcoming arena tour is set to be hit by escalating insurance costs that could reach up to £2 million.
In what will be Cheryl's first arena tour, she plans on putting on a 'Cirque du Soleil style show', an insider for The Sun reported.
Such circus antics do not come for free however and what with plans for zip-wires and potentially dangerous stunts such as choreographed fight scenes, Cheryl is going to have to prepare for astronomical costs.
The high-risk nature of the 'A Million Lights Tour' means that if Cole gets injured, "the whole tour is put in jeopardy."
Cole now joins other female music stars such as Lady Gaga, Madonna and Katy Perry whose tours all cost a small fortune. Cheryl gave us a small taster of what to expect when she performed on BBC One's The Voice earlier this year and swan-dived into a group of dancers.
The 'A Million Lights Tour' kicks off on Wednesday at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
