Lady Gaga has hit out at comments Pope Benedict XVI has made about preserving marriages against anything "injurious" to them.
While he didn't exclusively single out same-sex mariages as a problem, Lady Gaga chose to interpret his comments as a snub and voiced her opinoins to a French radio station.
"I think that gay marriage is going to happen. It must. We are not actually equal - humanity - if we are not allowed to freely love one another," said the singer.
Continuing to add that what the Pope thinks is irrelevant when it comes to true love: "What the Pope thinks of being gay does not matter to the world."
"It matters to the people who like the Pope and follow the Pope. It is not a reflection of all religious people."
Wow! Lady Gaga has some massive cahoonaz to be taking on the Pope. Do you agree with her comments?
