The former husband of Amy Winehouse, Blake Fielder-Civil has admitted for the first time that it was his fault that the late star was on hard drugs.
Talking to The Sun for the first time since being released from intensive care, Fielder-Civil has blamed himself for introducing the late 'Rehab' singer to drugs.
"I was the one who brought drugs into he relationship," he told The Sun.
Sharing his relief that the coroner however ruled the 'Back To Black' songstreeses' death as a result of too much alcohol, expressed that he didn't force the star to take the drugs though.
"I don't know whether it absolves my guilt or responsibility. But it meant I didn't kill my ex-wife," he said.
"It seems disrespectful to Amy to assume she was so impressionable she would take them without making the decision to do so herself," he added.
"She was actually very strong and independent."
