Reformed British band Steps have announced a new Christmas album and a six-date tour is on the way.
The pop group, consisting of members Lee Latchford-Evans, Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer and Ian H. Watkins, will release Light Up The World via their Steps Recordings/Warner Music Artist & Label Services on November 12.
The band, who shot to fame in the 90’s with hits such as ‘Tragedy‘ and ‘Heartbeat‘, will celebrate the move after being back together again after a 10-year hiatus.
Tickets for their six-date tour go on sale this Friday, September 28 at 9am.
In July, Steps star Claire Richards revealed to Digital Spy that a Christmas album with her band members was something that she always wanted to accomplish.
As for the future of the band, she added: ''We’d like to continue….There's things happening and I don’t think any of us want it to stop again, but where exactly we go and what we do is the question.''
The full Steps Christmas tour dates are as follows:
November 30 - Plymouth Pavilion
December 1 - Sheffield City Hall, Sheffield
December 2 - The London Palladium, London
December 3 - O2 Apollo, Manchester
December 4 - Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow
