Justin Timberlake has revealed that he has no plans to release a new album any time soon, due to a demanding acting career.
It's been six years since the 'Sexyback' singer released his second album FutureSex/LoveSound, and fans of the Memphis native may have to wait a bit longer to hear any new material from him.
The 31-year-old told the Associated Press that making music is a process inspired by his life's experiences, so it's a ''really big deal'' for him.
''For me, personally, when I do sit down and decide to do it, it's just a special thing,'' he explained during an interview on Wednesday night.
Timberlake's music career seems to have been put on a back-burner, ever since becoming engaged to stunning actress Jessica Biel.
In addition, his acting career has seen him appear in various successful film roles, such as The Social Network, comedy flick Bad Teacher, and the romantic comedy Friends with Benefits.
He is currently promoting Trouble With The Curve, in which he stars alongside Hollywood veteran Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams.
His last album was 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, a Grammy-winning record that launched three No. 1 hits and sold more than 4 million units in the United States.
The 31-year-old said he’s unlike today’s artists, who constantly drop albums and singles.
''I don’t know that I can pump them out every year,'' he said.
