Musician Example has only just begun taking singing lessons, despite having already released three successful albums.

The 'Kickstarts' hitmaker already has a career spanning five years, but recently decided to see a professional in order to coach his voice.

Said the 30- year-old:

''I've released three albums and about 15 (UK) Top 40 singles, so my manager went, 'Do you think we maybe should have a singing lesson now?'

''But the vocal coach said to me: 'You've got a really unique voice. I don't want you to lose the sound you've got.'

Continued the Example,

''So she taught me to warm up, basically, so I don't lose my voice.''

The British rapper -who is gearing up to release his fourth album, The Evolution Of Man - recently made his live show comeback for the iTunes Festival, after taking a short break from the music scene due to a leg injury.

Example - real name Elliot Gleave - belted out some of his hits, including 'Stay Awake,' 'Won't Go Quietly,' and 'Changed The Way You Kissed Me,' driving the crowd into a frenzy.

The Londoner was the 17th headline act to take to the stage, following on from the likes of French DJ David Guetta, JLS and Plan B.
