She's currently in the British capital attending the hottest shows of London Fashion Week, but amidst her busy schedule, sultry American burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese sat down for a tete-a-tete with Popdash to discuss all things designer.
The 39-year-old rocked an all-black ensemble, coordinating with her raven curls, and discussed the shows she planned to see.
''I went to see the Philip Treacy show last night,'' revealed Dita, ''which was pretty exciting, as they had all Michael Jackson's clothes on the models, so it was pretty exciting to watch, and I'm also gonna watch Burberry tonight.''
The Michigan-born star, who is also known for her glamourous retro look, also confessed that although she doesn't follow trends, she is lucky to have fashion designers to cater to her classic 1940's Hollywood style.
Said Von Teese,
''A lot of my favourite designers tend to look to the past a lot in their designs, and so, a lot of people don't know this, but I've more than once walked into my favourite vintage store in Los Angeles and seen a very very famous designer in there, with his whole team sketching, and thats where they get a lot of inspiration...and so fortunately for me, a lot of my favourites swing back to the 30's or the 40's.''
And her essential winter fashion item?
''A beautiful coat. I think that a nice coat, a glamourous coat is something that you can't go wrong with, ever,'' said Dita.
