British singers Lily Allen and Adele have reportedly become ''pregnancy buddies.''
The artists, who have maintained a friendship over the course of their careers but haven’t always been in close contact, bonded over their baby bumps, reportedly sharing tips.
Whilst this is 'Smile' singer Lily Allen’s second pregnancy, chart-topper Adele is expecting her first child with partner Simon Konecki.
A source is quoted in Closer magazine as saying:
''Adele and Lily lost contact due to their busy schedules but, lately, they've grown closer again, saying they're pregnancy buddies. Lily's been giving Adele loads of advice.''
27-year-old Allen famously retired from the music circuit to focus on her family life, and Adele previously announced that she wished to do the same, following her global musical success.
And it seems the two can’t help but laugh at their new situations.
''Adele's a homebody - she's been cooking for mates and shopping [for baby clothes],'' another friend explained.
''She and Lily joke they're not very 'celeb' mothers-to-be and message each other stuff like, 'Ate a whole packet of biscuits. Bet Posh [Spice, Victoria Beckham] didn't do that!'"
