Geordie babe Cheryl Cole has admitted that she thought she would have been settled with a family by the age of 29 in her forthcoming tell-all autobiography.
The 'Under The Sun' singer is said to be stressing that her biological clock is ticking, and she worries that she is running out of time to start her own brood.
The former Girls Aloud singer had previously dreamed of having children with her ex-husband, footballer Ashley Cole, but their relationship dissolved back in 2010 after his cheating scandal came to light.
According to a source who referred to her forthcoming autobiography:
''Cheryl worries she’s put her career before everything else, including settling down. She is desperate for children and reveals in the book that not only did she think she’d be a mum by now, but that she would have a family with Ashley if things hadn’t gone so wrong. She also reveals that she worries she won’t have children.''
The 29-year-old, who is now rumoured to be dating American dancer Tre Holloway, did admit in her penned tell-all, that despite overcoming the heartbreak caused by her ex-husband, depression was something she battled.
According to a source who spoke to Heat magazine, the Newcastle-born singer previously told herself:
''I just found myself looking at my team, thinking, 'Please somebody help me.' Although I didn’t do it, it was suggested that I seek therapy.''
We hope she can find some happiness with her new man!
