Chris Brown has not had a good few weeks; battling Twitter users and anonymous rumours, the singer has quickly realised that people aren't all that forgiving when it comes to serious assault.
Well, unless they're the organisers of the Grammy Awards, of course!
And Seth Rogen is no exception. When the comedian took to the stage at the Independent Spirit Awards last weekend, he took the opportunity to sound off his own opinions about Chris Brown's recent negative press:
"The Grammys... seem much more forgiving than the Oscars altogether... Seriously, if you say a few hateful things, they don’t let you within 100 feet of the Oscars. You could literally beat the s— out of a nominee and they ask you to perform twice at the Grammys.”
Ouch. Seth Rogen has a pretty pointed tongue, doesn't he?
We imagine Chris Brown will wait out a few days before opting for his usual response and releasing a barrage of insults over Twitter.
However, despite all the reignited bad press regarding Brown's infamous assault of his (hopefully still) ex girlfriend Rihanna, his career seems to be doing amazingly well. High-profile performances AND respectable record sales?
Any publicity is good publicity, apparently.
