Noel Gallagher has named his price to become a judge on The X Factor.
The former Oasis rocker, who scored a No. 1 album last year with new project Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, had previously confessed to turning down a judging offer last year.
Speaking to the Radio Times, he has now said that a £1 million payday would attract his attention,
"It's about six months' work, innit?" he said. "I reckon it would have to be a million pounds after tax.
"I say that tongue-in-cheek. I don't really want to do it. But a million pounds for six months' work? That's good money if you can get it. Even I don't earn that much."
It is assumed that Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos will return to the show when its ninth season begins this summer. Gary Barlow is thought to be in talks, whilst many believe Kelly Rowland will not be returning.
Simon Cowell also has two seats to fill on the US version, after having axed Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.
