Adele has overtaken Michael Jackson on the list of the UK's best-selling albums of all time.
21's latest sales tally of 4,020,000 puts her nearly 61,000 copies ahead of Michael Jackson's 1987 classic Bad, which featured 'Man In The Mirror', 'Smooth Criminal', 'The Way You Make Me Feel' and 'Dirty Diana'.
The Londoner's record, currently Number 1 in the UK charts, is now the eighth best-seller of all time.
"This is another incredible achievement to cap a year of incredible achievements for Adele," said Martin Talbot of the Official Charts Company. "By overtaking Bad, 21 has truly, officially cemented Adele's place among the all-time greats.
"Who would bet against her improving further on that achievement by taking steps towards the all-time Top 5?"
Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon is the next LP on Adele's to-overtake list, with 4,114,000 copies. The next target will be Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits.
The biggest selling album of all time in the UK is Queen's Greatest Hits on 5,863,000.
