Adele is back at the top of the UK Album Charts!
And we imagine that may have a little something to do with the Brit Awards controversy...
Adele is back and sitting pretty in the number one slot of the UK Album Charts with award-winning single '21', having climbed two places since the Brit Awards. That's a 37 percent sales increase, meaning that Adele has finally broken the six million mark!
And how does this affect everyone else?
Emeli Sande's debut album 'Our Version Of Events' is back at number two after just one week at the top... we bet she's not so happy about Adele's reign over musical sales. Ed Sheeran, on the other hand, has also seen a benefit from his Brit Awards performance; he's gone up two places into the number three slot. Lana Del Rey's 'Born To Die' is still in the top ten list, sitting just behind Sheeran at number four.
Unsurprisingly, Blur have re-entered the charts following their explosive performance at the Brits, with 'Blur: The Best Of' re-entering the chart at the respectable number twenty-two position.
