Snoop Dogg has announced that he loves Coronation Street and wants to make a cameo appearance in the long running soap opera.

Conveniently announced shortly before he performed in Manchester, Snoop said,

"I had my agent reach out to them to see if they could try to get me on and they said they were interested so hopefully it might happen.

"It would be perfect for me to be on the show.

"I love the whole dynamic, the way it is put together, it is my world, it is something I could fall into."

Imagine Snoop Dogg rolling into The Kabin to buy a paper and half a pound of mint imperials from Rita. Just think how much the murder and pregnancy rates would go up too?!

A Corrie spokesperson dashed our hopes however by saying, "He's obviously a great character but hard to see how he'd fit into Weatherfield."
