Cheryl Cole wants to concentrate on her music and will not return to The X Factor as she refuses to be a “puppet” for Simon Cowell.
The ‘Fight For This Love’ singer was dramatically fired from X Factor USA last year and since there has been speculation that she will return to the UK show.
According to The Mirror the Geordie is having none of it and refuses to play games with her old friend Simon Cowell.
She told a friend: “I’m no puppet. “Enough is enough.”
“She is a strong girl and is moving on. She was dumped from X Factor USA and she’s made up her mind she is not going back. "She doesn’t need to do the show.” The friend added.

The Girls Aloud star is now looking ahead to her next solo album which is set to be released later this year.
A source revealed: “Cheryl is all about her music now. She lives, sleeps and breathes her new album – it’s her passion.”
Close friend and manager Will.I.Am of the ‘Black Eyed Peas’ revealed to The Mirror at Tuesday night’s Brit Awards that the brunette will also feature on his new album.
Cheryl has cut all ties with the show that made her the nation's sweetheart. She was recently involved in a public spat with her mini-me Cher Lloyd who slated the 28 year-old for not singing live.
