Gotye is set to return to the Number 1 spot this weekend with his hit single 'Somebody That I Used To Know', whilst Emeli Sande is fighting to hold her crown in the album charts.

There is only one new entry in this week's singles list, with Gym Class Heroes' new tune 'Ass Back Home' expected to chart at No. 8.

Cher Lloyd's 'Want U Back', which received its full release this week, re-enters the Top 40 to No. 25, while One Direction's 'One Thing' goes in the opposite direction and drops 8-18.

The Official Charts Company expect both the singles and albums charts to be shaken up by the time the final announcement is made on Sunday, as viewers of Tuesday's Brit Awards ceremony rush out to buy records by the big winners and performers.

It's been reported that Adele (currently No. 2 in the midweeks), Ed Sheeran and Blur have posted the biggest sales surges so far.
