Is Adele Engaged?

We definitely saw a diamond on her finger last night...

By Kayleigh Dray on Wednesday 22nd February 2012

Adele's songs may all be about heartbreak, but the singer couldn't be more happily in love if she tried. And now engagement rumours are rife after press spotted a diamond on her finger at last night's Brit Awards...

Adele made headlines at the 2012 Brit Awards for three simple reasons; one, she scored two highly-respectable awards. Two, the Someone Like You singer stuck her middle finger up at James Corden for interrupting her speech. Three, she definitely had a very big rock on her engagement finger.

Well, she did technically have one on her finger at last year's ceremony, but that one was clearly just to tease us. Maybe this time it's the genuine deal.

Adele has been dating Simon Konecki since last summer and has already sparked rumours of marriage when, in an interview with US Vogue, she joked that she intended to take five years off from her career in order to focus on being a good girlfriend:

"She said: 'I am f***ing off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail. So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy... And then I don't know what I'll do. Get married."

If that's not a hint, we don't know what is. We wonder if the boyf took note and rushed out to get that eyeatching piece of fnger bling when that issue hit the shelves?

However, despite all of this potential wedding news, we didn't get to hear very much from Adele at all. The show was overrunning and, unfortunately, host James Corden was forced to cut her speech short, much to the anger of both Adele and the crowd.

What do you think? Is that an engagement ring on the Rolling In The Deep singer's finger?

Check out the sensational mini-speech from Adele for yourself!
