JLS star Aston Merrygold has backed Olly Murs over his suggestion that he should have been nominated for more Brit Awards.
Last week Olly said he was grateful for his Best British Single nod for 'Heart Skips A Beat', but believed he deserved a look-in for Best British Male as well.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Aston said: "It doesn't make sense. He's had two double platinum albums and number one [singles].
"But he'll perform on the night, show what he can do and do himself justice."
JLS are also competing for Best British Single with their hit 'She Makes Me Wanna', though One Direction are believed to be the frontrunners with 'What Makes You Beautiful'.
Ed Sheeran, James Blake, Professor Green, James Morrison and Noel Gallagher are the five nominees or Best British Male.
The Brit Awards air tonight at 8pm on ITV1, live from the O2 Arena.
