Emeli Sande has knocked Lana Del Rey off the top of the charts this week!

It's that special time on a Monday morning when we like to sit back with a cuppa and have a good old catch-up with the album charts.

Emeli Sande, after scooping the Brit Awards Critics' Choice, has zoomed to the top of the lists, knocking Lana Del Rey off her perch and back down into second place. Never mind Lana, you have a Mulberry named after you now; Emeli can't take that away from you!

Adele continues to dominate, with her award-winning album 21 still sitting pretty in third place; it's going to take a LOT to send her any further down the listings. Especially when she's tipped for yet another big win at this year's Brit Awards later this week.

Gotye is at number four with Making Mirrors, while Ed Sheeran has set up camp at number five with +. Snapping at his heels is Maverick Sabre, who've clambered into sixth place with Lonely Are The Brave.

Obviously it goes without saying that Whitney Houston has clawed her way back into the chart listings; her tragic death sent the Greatest Hits Collection into a dizzying upward spiral, jumping 192 places into the number seven slot. And we're almost definite that she's going to zoom even higher up the lists as the week goes on...

We'll keep our eye on that for you, although it goes without saying that the Brit Awards on Tuesday will probably have a big effect on everyones current album chart position. Who've you got pegged for next week's number one?
