Cher Lloyd Admits To Being A Brat
Cher Lloyd has publically apologised to her former X Factor mentor, Cheryl Cole for making rude remarks about her singing abilities earlier this week.
The 18 year-old had told Real Radio North West that she would only perform with the Girls Aloud star if she sang live and that she may find it a “challenge” to sing without auto tune.
According to MTV Cher back-tracked apologised for her remarks during an appearance on Daybreak this morning.
The ‘Swagger Jagger’ singer said: “Basically I said something on radio which I shouldn’t have said and it wasn’t intended to sound as bad as it did.”
“I wasn’t doing that all, I was saying is I would love to perform with her and I made a little joke about only if she sang live.” She added.
The apology comes quick on the heels of Cheryl Cole’s cryptic tweets that were obviously aimed at the comments from her ‘mini-me’.
She tweeted: "Be Careful who you kick on your way up .. They kick you twice as hard on your way back down.. #unappreciationisugly."
The Geordie star personally championed the singer from Worcester and encountered hostility from viewers after she put the brunette through to the live shows ahead of Gamu, who had been tipped to win the competition.
Cher praised her former mentor in the interview and acknowledged that she would be no where she was without her, she said: “I think it all got blown out of proportion. I just want to say sorry to her if she found that offensive. But at the end of the day, she is the person who got me to where I am today.”
Play nice now girls!
