Amelia Lily has reportedly signed a recording contract with Xenomania, the hitmaking team behind all but one of Girls Aloud's hits.
The outfit were responsible for the entirety of the girlband's albums What Will The Neighbours Say?, Chemistry, Tangled Up and Out Of Control, as well as a number of tracks on their debut Sound Of The Underground.
Now The Mirror reports that they have nabbed Amelia Lily as the first signing to their new imprint on Sony.
"Amelia will be the perfect pop star and has fantastic hit-makers who were behind some of The Saturdays' and Girls Aloud's best songs," an source told the paper. "It'll be a great combination."
The pink-haired rock chick was mentored by Kelly Rowland in last year's X Factor, finishing behind Marcus Collins and winners Little Mix.
