Chris Brown isn't known for handling his temper well...
Despite the R&B star taking home his first Grammy at the 2012 awards show, the mood on Twitter was less than positive. Chris Brown famously assaulted his ex-girlfriend Rihanna three years ago and many have felt that his appearance at the ceremony condoned domestic violence.
The phrase "wife-beater" was one of the hottest trending topics on Twitter during the Grammy's, referring to Brown, with thousands voicing the opinion that Chris Brown did not deserve to perform on their stage (let alone receive an award!).
Chris Brown, mature soul that he is, responded to his haters in the only way he knew how:

Yup, it's official; he's an idiot.
Brown took to his Twitter account in order to attack his haters, addressing critics in a series of growingly-offensive Tweets and ending with the above sentiment.
Moments later, the star thought better of his actions and attempted to delete the evidence but, by that point, it was too late. Not only had the quick-thinking folks at Mashable managed to capture the most offensive missive before it was deleted, but the masses who had seen his tantrum were already beginning to respond.
And they weren't happy.
Do you think Chris Brown deserved a second chance? Do you think his behaviour on Twitter was acceptable? Should the public forgive and forget, as Rihanna and the folks at Grammy seem to have done?
