Beyonce And Other Celebrity Baby Bumps

Beyonce and Jay-Z have trademarked their daughter’s name ‘Blue Ivy’ in an attempt to stop others cashing in on the famous baby.

Blue Ivy, who is only just a month old is already the most famous and closely guarded baby on the planet and parents Beyonce and Jay-Z are leaving nothing to chance.

An expert told MTV News: "They are likely trying to protect what they rightfully own or created, shall we say, by trademarking Blue Ivy's name."

"[Seeking the trademark] forestalls competitors from using the child's name and or third parties from attempting to sell the baby's name back to the couple.”

The couple are set to become even richer now that they are a family, with a gorgeous baby opening a whole new world of business to the savy couple.

Beyonce made her first appearance this week since the birth of her daughter but there has still been no sign yet of baby Blue Ivy herself. The protective parents spent time away from the little one this week at a charity concert in New York.

We are sure that Blue doesn’t feel neglected though as whenever Beyonce gets tired grandmother Tina Knowles is there to take over.

She told People Magazine: “She's doing great. She's beautiful."

"It's the second best job I've ever had."
