JB And The Wanted Hit The Stage...

Move over Oscars, we're focusing our attention on the lesser-known 2012 Juno Awards and their amazing nominees!

First things first, the Juno Awards are basically your Canadian version of the Brits. Secondly, they're being hosted by none other than WILLIAM SHATNER! Oh yes, Captain Kirk himself. And, thirdly, we've got some pretty awesome nominees in the running...

Drake, who hosted the ceremony in 2011, is up for four trophies this time around, including Fan Choice, Best Rap Recording, Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year for ‘Take Care.’

Justin Bieber, oh the teen with an army of fans, has been nominated for Fan Choice and Album of the Year for 'Under The Mistletoe'.

The highly-competitive Album of the Year category also faces some stiff competition from Michael Buble‘s ‘Christmas,’ Avril Lavigne‘s ‘Goodbye Lullaby,’ and Nickelback‘s ‘Here and Now.’

We're still almost 99% sure that Bieber has it in the bag, to be honest. But there's always a small chance that someone else could get a sniff at it...

The show may be all about the land of the maple leaf, but there is one award for non-Canadians; our nominees for  Best International Album are Lady Gaga, Rihanna, LMFAO, as well as Brit sensations Adele and Coldplay.

Fingers crossed for a UK win!
