One Direction Bring US Album Release Date Forward Following Popular Demand

Boyband go down a storm Stateside...

By David Renshaw on Friday 3rd February 2012

One Direction have decided to release their album in America a week earlier than originally planned, after receiving huge interest in the release.

The band went on a whirlwind promotional tour of the States last week, including filming a cameo appearance on hit teen show iCarly. The interest they whipped up has seen the girls of America go as wild for Niall, Harry, Louis, Zayn and Liam as they have here in the UK.

The boys will now release their debut album, Up All Night on March 13, 2012 having previously planned to release it one week later.

The bands UK #1 single, ‘What Makes You Beautiful’, will also have its US broadcast premiere on Nickelodeon, Saturday, Feb. 11, during the network's primetime Valentine's-themed "Crush Night".

Earlier today we revealed how Harry Styles had spent his 18th birthday with Kylie Minogue.
