One Direction's Harry Styles celebrated his 18th birthday on a plane from LA to London alongside fellow passenger Kylie Minogue.

The teen boyband star was returning home from a promotional journey to the States and enjoyed his first legal drink whilst flying high above the Atlantic. According to The Sun, Kylie was on the same flight and came through to say hello to Harry.

"Kylie was in First Class and had to pass the lads as she turned left to take her posh seat. They were starstruck when they plucked up the courage to say hello," said a source.

Earlier this week it was reported that One Direction's US label are keen to push the band with Harry as lead singer.
