The magazine that published an interview with former So Solid Crew member Harvey, in which he claimed that he had a relationship with Cheryl Cole has defended its actions.
Now are standing by their word and issued a statement on their official website yesterday which reads: "We completely and wholeheartedly stand by our exclusive and refute any accusation that it contains untruths.
"Michael Harvey himself released a statement earlier this week standing by what he revealed in his interview in Now magazine.
"The article is not defamatory and was published in good faith - we will strongly defend it."
Cole was left furious by the interview in Now, accusing Harvey of 'smoking something' if he thinks that the story is true. She subsequently threatened to take legal action against the magazine for publishing his claims.
