Cheryl Cole has hit back at former So Solid Crew member Harvey after he claimed that he had a relationship with her.

Earlier today we reported how Harvey had revealed the fling to Now, saying: "We've known each other for years. But then [after Cheryl split with Ashley] we started confiding in each other. A lot of it was like: 'We can't trust anyone out there, so we're just gonna trust each other'."

However, Cheryl has clearly taken issue with yet another media story painting her in shades less than truthful and tackled Harvey on Twitter this afternoon (Jan 31).

"Was this "relationship" happening in your head @harveyofficial ?! Are you smoking something ?.." Cheryl Tweeted. Adding: "I think I've met you once maybe twice at public events and With your wife !! #shitjustgetsweirder"

Harvey has since replied to Cheryl, threatening to make messages she sent him public.

"Do you actually want me to tweet some of the messages you emailed me @cherylcole pipe down and stop playing the saint in front of your fans," he Tweeted.

Harvey then added: "I had your back @cherylcole untill you sent that sh*t dissapointed in you if the public seen these emails you would end up with egg on your face. And let's get this straight @cherylcole I don't need no hype of you! I'd rather go broke and work in sainsburys than talk about your personal sh*t."
