Cher Lloyd has become embroiled in an advertising row alongside fellow stars Rio Ferdinand and Katie Price after possibly breaking rules in a promotion for chocolate bar Snickers.
The advertising campaign saw Cher sending a series of Tweets about her unexpected love of Russian literature, extolling the virtues of Tolstoy and Anna Karrenina before revealuing a Twitpic of herself eating a Snickers along with the tag line "You’re not you when you’re hungry."
This was echoes by similar Tweets by Katie Price (advising her followers on financial matters0 and Rio Ferdinand (revealing a love of knitting).
However, some people feel the advertising went too far and have complained to the Advertising Standards Authority who have promptly launched an investigation into what has happened. ASA rules state that the Tweets should possinly have been labelled marketing communications and along with the "reveal" tweets for followers to understand.
