Frankie Cocozza is the new favourite to win Celebrity Big Brother after impressing viewers during this week's huge 'pant-gate' row.

The X Factor reject was stuck in the middle of a massive argument between Denise Welch and Playboy twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon that erupted after the Loose Women star drunkenly tried to pull the trousers of the US girls down.

Nicola Mclean also got involved and Frankie stepped in to defend Denise after she was ganged up on.

As one of the only housemates to escape the row with any respect, Frankie is not hot favourite to win the show outright with bookies placing him at 11/8 favourite, narrowly ahead of gay Welsh rugby star Gareth Thomas at 13/8. A Labrokes is quouted as saying: "Frankie's finally struck a chord with punters. It looks like Gareth and his nice guy act might fall at the last hurdle."
