Rihanna has posted a series of pictures from the tattoo parlour, with one suggesting she might have got the phrase 'Thug Life' tattooed on her fingers.

The 'We Found Love' star has a large number of tattoos already, including stars on the back of her neck, writing on her side and a small gun image on her rib cage, and has clearly chosen today to add to the collection.

Posting the shots on Twitter, RiRi was joined by Hollywood actor Danny Trejo. Tweeting about her encounter, Rihanna said: "Look who's in the #TATTOO parlor...Danny Trejo #G4L p.s. Look up his story!"

Adding: "Tat my f*ckin name on u girl so I know its real!!!"

Rihanna also posted the picture above, which seems to show her with a 2Pac style tattoo on her fingers.
