Miley Cyrus has declared her interest in appearing in a potential Sex and the City prequel, with the show being picked up on US TV.
There have long been rumours that a programme showing the early days of Charlotte Jones and Carrie Bradshaw was set to his the screen and that dream is one step closer to reality today with the news that CW, who make Gossip Girl amongst others, have ordered a pilot with a view to making a full series.
Casting is far from confirmed but Miley has said that she is interested in a starring role. Asked about the possibility of featuring in said prequel, Miley said: "I'd love it.
"I'm not attached [to the project], so I don't want to say that, but that would be very cool."
Based on the Carrie Bradshaw Diaries, any TV show would not feature the characters of Miranda or Charlotte. Blake Lively and Emma Roberts are believed to be wanted for the role of Carrie.
