Lil Wayne has announced that he will be releasing a collection of the diaries he kept whilst locked up in prison throughout 2010.
The 'Lollipop' rapper spent time in Rikers Island prison in New York after being found guilty of a number of charges involving drugs and guns. He was productive during his time inside though, keeping a log of his thoughts and experiences behind bars.
The book will be published by Grand Central Publishing, whose executive editor Ben Greenberg said: "We are thrilled to be publishing Wayne’s prison memoir. He kept detailed journals of his inner and outer life while he was on Rikers Island, and they certainly tell a story. They are revealing."
Titled 'Gone Till November, the book will be released on November 28th 2012.
