Labrinth has revealed that he hopes Professor Green tops the UK charts this weekend, even though it means he himself would not.

The pair are neck and neck in the Singles chart with Pro Green's 'Read All About It' narrowly ahead of Lab's latest single 'Earthquake'.

Speaking to Digital Spy about the battle, Lab claimed that he does not mind who comes out on top and made slightly condescending comments about how Green needs the title more than him.

"He needs this [number one] more than me right now, so I don't mind if he finishes out on top on Sunday. He has a new album coming out really soon and this is the perfect way for him to kick things off, whereas mine is coming next year."said the producer/ performer.

Adding: "I'm really pleased for Pro Green, it's a sick tune and it's always great to see an urban act at the top of the charts.
